About sanphire design
We are a small, dynamic business based in Drumbeg on the outskirts of Belfast. You won't find us in the Yellow Pages, but word seems to have got round somehow!
With Sanphire Design you don’t have the big agency feel (and you don’t pay for the big agency overheads). You talk directly to the designer who will take the information you provide and create a unique design to match your requirements.
Sanphire is named after a mishearing of the name of an island off the west coast of ireland. (The island is called samphire - and that's also a rare sea- side plant so we hear!)

Meet the team
Sanphire Design is made up of husband and wife team John and Lisa Catherwood and was founded in 2002.
Lisa is an artist as well as a designer and brings many years experience of the world of art and design to the business.
John, from an academic background, does the words. He studied philosophy at university and his thesis on brain death was a real conversation stopper at parties.
Other creative people – photographers, proofreaders, web content assistants etc. complement the team as and when needed.
